The Grand Opening of our Logistics Center

The brand new Logistics Center will provide for the ever-increasing need for food storage, packaging, sorting and distributing.

On March, 26, 2017 the entire Latet team including workers, volunteers, and our devoted partners met in Beit Shemesh for the grand opening of our new Logistics Center. The day included moving speeches from our founder Gilles Darmon and CEO Eran Weintrob. After a toast the entire group joined together to pack Passover oriented boxes for our families in need. The brand new Logistics Center will provide for the ever-increasing need for food storage, packaging, sorting and distributing.
Thanks to our generous partners, the center will comfortably accommodate our volunteers as well as our perishable food packages, increasing food salvaging from 16 million USD per year to 27 million. What's most exciting is that our new logistical center allows Latet to be more environmentally friendly than ever! Why? The more food we salvage, the less we waste, and the more families we can feed – just in time for the holidays!
