The IDF and civil society together!

Join us in this lifesaving mission!

This morning, a unique collaboration kicked off! The IDF and civil society - Latet- Israeli Humanitarian Aid and The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, main philanthropic bodies from Israel and abroad along with leading companies in the business sector - have all come together for a national and lifesaving mission: to provide basic food and hygiene products to tens of thousands of elderly people in need. The goal of this unprecedented project is to enable at-risk seniors to stay at home to keep them safe from exposure to the virus, while ensuring their basic needs are met.

The IDF soldiers will pack Emergency Boxes in a dedicated military installation and thousands of volunteers will be delivering these boxes right at the doorstep of 15,000 impoverished elderly people, among which 3,000 Holocaust survivors.

The Emergency Boxes include food (adapted to the elderly) as well as relevant hygiene products (hand sanitizer, wet wipes, soap, gloves, toilet paper and more).
