The Healthy Meals Cookbook by the Children

After the workshop, the children and nutritionists created a cookbook.

On top of providing families in need with food packages, our City without Hunger program gives teens and children the tools to lead a healthy life. Part of this requires teaching them how to eat healthily with scarce resources.

With the help and advice of professional dietitians, we have created a booklet of recipes using the products that are distributed in the package. Chefs received a list of all the items in the packages and got cookin’, Top Chef style. They concocted healthy, hearty and affordable meals.

The booklet will be distributed before Rosh Hashana, to thousands of families who receive aid from our NGO partners and to participants of our City without Hunger program.
