Latet's Sahvuot Campaign

80% of the food Latet distributes to thousands of families and Holocaust survivors comes from food rescue and includes fresh and dairy products.

Nearly a quarter million Israelis have been displaced within the country, with many reservists putting their work on hold and countless others experiencing severe economic hardship due to the ongoing conflict. The demand for basic food assistance has skyrocketed over the past eight months.

As we approach the joyous celebration of Shavuot ,we urgently need your help. We are committed to delivering special holiday food boxes containing fresh and dairy products to the 95,000 impoverished families and 1,450 Holocaust survivors who rely on our support every month. Additionally, since October 7 we have been assisting those recently affected by the war who find themselves in sudden need and we will continue to do so for as long as needed.

WHY YOUR DONATION MATTERS?
  • Maximized Impact - Thanks to our efficient logistics and food rescue initiatives, every $1 donated enables us to distribute $10 worth of food. This means your contribution has ten times the impact.
  • Nutritious Food - 80% of the food we distribute comes from food rescue, allowing us to include fresh bread, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products in addition to basic items like pasta, rice, olive oil, and canned goods.
  • Emergency Situation - Many individuals and families in Israel currently lack access to essential needs.
  • Holiday Spirit - Your support can bring hope and joy to those struggling during this festive season.
This year, every single holiday and celebration have been overshadowed by an unprecedented crisis. But each time, we are reminded of the importance of community, compassion and sharing our blessings with those in need.
Your generosity will ensure that thousands of families and elderly receive the assistance they desperately need.
