Showing Gratitude to the Israeli Bravery

11.01.2024 International Thank You Day

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, Simchat Torah day, Israel awoke to a brutal surprise attack on the settlements in the south. This devastating event claimed thousands of lives and resulted in hundreds of hostages from Israeli society, marking the beginning of the "Iron Swords" war.

Amidst the horror, shock, and brokenness emerged heroes, including volunteers, security forces, and reservists who swiftly responded to the scene. Good citizens on the home front also played a crucial role in providing immediate assistance to address the pressing needs on the ground.

On Thursday, January 11, 2024, International Thank You Day, the "Latet Youth" organization will launch a nationwide initiative called "Latet Toda- Israeli Bravery."
As part of this initiative, tens of thousands of youths from across the country will present pins and "thank you" letters to the heroes of the hour, including the security forces such as IDF soldiers in regular service and reserves, the Israel Police, MADA ,United Hatzalah, medical teams, and volunteers.
